REPENTANCE, THE FORGOTTEN COMMAND (PART 1): Mark 1:14-15. When Jesus came and commenced His public ministry, He came with a message of the gospel that is so different to the way we hear the gospel proclaimed in our modern churches. He said it like this, "Repent, and believe in the gospel!" This is a command that is given and not simply a good suggestion, and it is indeed forgotten in today's preaching of the Gospel. This passage is quite a rebuke to our modern evangelism methods and we would do well to observe and follow the way Christ presented the Gospel. Without repentance, there can be no salvation... so, what is repentance and what are we to repent from? Ps.
